Hi,guys in this article we are going to be talking about how beginners can write amazing blog posts that will bring a lot of traffic to your website!
This article is not going to be too long because we certainly don't want to over complicate things and it also does not take too many elements to write a blog post!
OK so grab a pen and paper and write all these points down or bookmark them!
Out of this World Purpose Honestly, nobody has time for fluff posts there is nothing more obnoxious than getting on a website or getting an email from somebody saying 'hey come check out my latest post',which does not have any real purpose behind it because it is not solving a problem!
It is not sort of any important blog update or anything, instead it was just kind of thrown out there because they felt like 'oh i had not written in a long time,i should probably just threw in what i consider to be a fluff post!
It is a waste of your time and it is a waste of their time,so make sure that all your blog posts have a purpose!
A subscriber incentive Now this does not mean that if you write 50 posts you have to have 50 different subscriber incentives,i don't believe that because let's be honest that no one has time for that kind of thing!
But what i hope is that you have a niche that is specific enough so that you can apply the same subscriber incentive to multiple blog posts!
So let's say for example that you have a personal finance spread sheet and it is used to track all someone's income and expenses,so you write about the budgeting, you writ about the myths about personal finance, you write about different tips about saving! That spreadsheet could easily be offered in all of those blog posts!
It is not like you had to create 3 different spread sheets and remember it is important to offer a subscriber incentive in as many blog posts as you possibly can.Simply because you may be creating some sort of product or service in the future and having a list of potential customers is a huge benefit,so many people miss out
on this opportunity and that is beyond me as to why they miss out on something like this!
Engaging Headline and Introduction Now as far as headlines are concerned i recommend trying to find some good keywords, you can do that by simply using Google's keyword planner!
But the important thing here is not to make it really mundane or dry, there is so much dry headlines out there on blogs and because of the mass number of blogs that exist today it just kind of looks really boring.
So spice it up a little bit, throw your personality in there, don't be shy and definitely try to get a keyword in there that can help you stand out as far as SEO is concerned!
The second part is that you just have a really good introduction. So most times when people come to your blog and they see your blog posts you have about 2 or 3 seconds to really capture their attention and make them read the entire thing, that is hard to do!
For example if they are scrolling through Pinterest and you are one of the pins then it is going to be hard to capture their attention and that introduction is what really helps sell your blog posts!
A short Summary The 4th element is simply having a short summary within the post.So a lot of us are really busy when we pop onto blogs right?
The same is the case when people come to read your posts,so try making it easier on people who don't have a lot of time on their hands, and just provide an easy summary along with your posts.
So this could be in bullet points or just a short summary at the end but definitely include it!
Needy content The next thing that i recommend having is what i call needy content!
So there may have been a time when someone wanted to write a blog post but then they just got tired and their blog posts end up not having a lot of meat to them or they don't have a whole lot of value.
Make sure you are providing a ton of value and also kind of break things up by using bullet points or using different heading sizes to make your posts more visually appealing to anybody who might read your posts!
A pinnable Social media friendly graphic You need a pinnable social media graphic,if this is applicable to your niche. So if you use Pinterest a lot because you think it might be really beneficial for you, since you can get a lot o traffic, you don't have to use Pinterest but you should an appealing graphic in some way.
This will make users want to stick around to read your content. So you should definitely include this in every single one of your posts!
Applicable External Links The last thing i recommend is having any sort of applicable external links or interlinking between posts,so just to clarify if you have two different posts about budgeting, you would include a link to both of them in either post!
So this way your bounce rates will decrease too.
Not only does this benefit you but it will also make the job a little bit more easier for the reader.
Conclusion So that wraps it up for this article,i hope you follow all the steps given above if you can;t try to follow as many as you can.
