In today's article i am going to be talking about money, because it takes money to make money.
And if you are trying to build a blogging business or just a blog in general there may be some expenses that you may not have counted on!
So i am going to list 4 of the expenses that many bloggers are surprised by!
Custom email So the first expense that i am going to mention here is custom email, now what you technically can do to get away from not paying for this is just start a blog just for blogging purposes, but if you are ready to become a professional then you need a custom email!
You know something to that effect, you know because it looks a lot more professional.
It only costs $5 to $10 a month,so it is not that expensive but it is an unexpected expense!
Buying plugins if you are on Wordpress, then there are tons of free plugins,so you may not have to spend a $100 dollars on the first day of your blogging journey, however as you grow and you need to create a more exclusive experience for your users you will need quite a lot of additional plugins!
And you are going to have to pay for it,the prices are going to vary from. The price could be $50 or less but if it means creating a great blog and brand then even $50 is not a lot of money in the long run!
But it is an additional expense and nobody talks about it when they start their blogging career's.
External hard Drive Now you are not going to really need this right away.Maybe in a year or a year and a half's time!
So,if you start integrating different forms of content for example creating courses, videos etc then that will really start up to eat the storage space.
It is not really expensive you can get an external storage device of 1 TB RAM for $60 to $100,the price depnds on where you live.
It is totally worth the investment, after all you definitely don't want to delete all of your subscriber inccentives or any of the graphics that your are saving just to make room for new stuff.
Save your stuff because you might need it later on.
It is not that expensive to buy an external hard drive!
Themes/Designs When you first start out your blog, then you may be hopeful that it's going to look really professional after all there are tons of themes available!
Let me tell you...NO,that is not how it works, you have to pay to look good and when it comes to themes and designs you can get pre made one's or you can get custom one's,it is going to cost you a lot of money!
About $500 or more to get the most basic package ever and if you want something a little more extravagant then it is going to cost you even more!
Conclusion So there you have it guys, these are the expenses that most people don't talk about,so my advice to you would be to save, save and save a lot of dough, before beginning your professional blogging journey!
