Site links This is something that a lot of people over look but when you are running ad words don't forget to add site links!
Site links give you the opportunity to add more real estate to your results,if you are showing in the number one position for example you can have different links for people to check out different sites or different sections of your site.
Maybe your visitors want to check out case studies,maybe they want to check out testimonials,there are endless possibilities and you can even add stars from different review sites and things like that so you are going to have your site links and some extensions as well!
Day parting Another thing to leverage is day parting,i know this one is really simple but most people don't end up leveraging it and it goes beyond me as to why they don't,especially in the b2b ROM where if you,let's say you call
a customer or a lead back within five minutes they are more likely to close,why would you want to generate leads on a Saturday even if they are good leads,you know you are not going to follow up with them within 5 minutes
and even if you tried they are not going to be there to answer the phone!
So you are pretty much just wasting money!
Make sure that your day parting especially if you are in the b2b ROM realm that way,so you can focus on getting leads when your reps are available,call back and close those deals!
Single keyword ad So i recommend googling this but it is basically when you create ads in Adwords but you have your campaign first,right then you have ad groups and then you have your ads right?
Single keyword ad groups allow you to really focus in on one keyword and your ads focus in on that one keyword too!
A lot of people put 15 to 20 keywords in one AD group,that is Ok,sometimes that still works but for certain scenarios think about how you can leverage single ad groups.
This is not a blanket recommendation,all i am saying is this is an option that you would want to try,this way you can improve your quality score and you can improve your conversion rates overall!
GEO-Targeting The reason i put geo-targeting here is not because i am trying tell you that you may service only a certain region,the reason i put geo targeting here is because you should geo target your campaigns even if it's nation wide,
because you can give people specific offers based on the city that they are living in.
For example you might know that free shipping,if you are in ecommerce helps boost conversions,but you probably can't do that everywhere because it is expensive.
So what you want to do is target areas near you,that way you can only show those people offers which will benefit you in boosting your conversions!
Hook Adwords Make sure that you are hooking you ad words in with your Google Analytics as well,because then you can make a much more targeted or retargeting list.
For example instead of just targeting some one that visited a certain page,you can targeted someone who visited your site and stayed for 5 minutes or longer.
You can get more specific with it,so when it comes to re targeting this is an option for you!
The great thing is you can build look-alikes or similar audiences as well!
So just remember this is absolutely free to do and you should do it!
Integrate Main keywords in landing page A lot of people fail to realize the benefits this will bring in,this is another freebie.
Always remember that you should integrate the main keywords within your landing page,you know the main keywords that your users search for!
By doing this typically your conversion rate is going to be higher,Ad words costs are always going to go up so make sure you are optimizing your landing pages for conversions and the simplest way to do this is by including the main keyword on your landing page!
USE CPA BIDDING IF you have a cost per acquisition number that is set up,then the great thing about CPA bidding is that it works really well
Once you start getting 20 conversions or so,then you can just set it to CPA bidding and let Google do it's work!
The only caveat there is that you to look at it every day once in a while because sometimes it get's out of control.But when you set it on autopilot and then bid on CPA,why not let Google do it's job.
You will see good results with it!
